There seems to be little recognition of Bellevue's injuries (Humphries out with ankle, Searles out for season. The two best guards down and out has had an impact.) affecting their drop.
ReplyDeleteHumphries healthy, I don't see Whatcom staying with them... they barely pulled out the win in Bellevue. Bellevue beat them early in the season with these guys healthy. Humphries was attempting to play on a bad sprain against Whatcom and he was out for the Shoreline game. Insert his 16+ ppg back into the line up and Bellevue will roll.
I'm sure they would, but as it is they don't have the firepower to keep up with Whatcom. The injuries definitely do have an impact, and without them I can't see Bellevue going in to Whatcom and knocking them off in their own gym. Even with Humphries back, I'd give Whatcom the edge in that contest.
DeleteWe shall see. Two meetings they are 1-1. One close, one not so much. Home court is going to have to be friendly for Whatcom. Should be good fun to watch, I'll make the drive.
